Natural screening from Park Center Boulevard traffic is being lost as the existing Black and Scotch Pines mature and lose lower juvenile limbs. This problem will only worsen as the pines continue to mature.

My proposal offers, as a solution, planting a mix of infill and under story plants amongst the existing landscape. By varying color and texture, and utilizing a combination of coniferous and non-coniferous evergreens, ornamental grasses and deciduous plants, privacy screening with a perception of tangible depth can be achieved.

As I was given no budget parameters to follow, I chose to base my proposal on a mix of small, medium, and near specimen size plants. In other words, this proposal may be scaled up or down as needed.
